Coming to the nuisance

A defense in nuisance law asserting that a plaintiff who voluntarily moved to an area already affected by an existing nuisance cannot later complain about it. This defense suggests the plaintiff assumed the risk of the nuisance by choosing to reside nearby. While sometimes considered, it is generally not a complete bar to recovery in most jurisdictions.
