Officious intermeddler

A person who voluntarily and unnecessarily interferes in the affairs of another without being requested or authorized to do so. In law, such interference generally does not create a right to compensation or reimbursement for services rendered or expenses incurred. This principle discourages unsolicited intervention in private matters, unless an emergency or specific legal exception applies.
