Power of acceptance

The legal ability of an offeree to create a binding contract by assenting to the terms of an offer. This power arises when a valid offer has been made and communicated to the offeree. Once the offeree accepts the offer according to its terms, a contract is formed, provided all other elements of contract formation are present.
