Ratify

To formally approve or confirm an act or agreement that was previously unauthorized or provisional, thereby giving it legal validity. When a party ratifies an action, they accept its terms and consequences as if they had authorized it from the beginning. This can apply to contracts, treaties, or actions taken by an agent without initial authority.
