Revival

The restoration of legal force or effect to something that was previously terminated, expired, or dormant. This can apply to a will, a contract, a judgment, or a statute of limitations. For instance, a debt discharged in bankruptcy may be revived if the debtor subsequently makes a new promise to pay it.
