Right of entry

A legal power retained by a grantor of an estate in land, allowing them to repossess the property if a specific condition subsequent is breached by the grantee. This right does not automatically terminate the grantee's estate upon breach; the grantor must take affirmative action to reclaim the property. It is a future interest that can be exercised upon the occurrence of a stated event, such as a tenant violating a lease covenant.
