Seasoned issuer

A company that has a history of filing reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and meets specific market capitalization and public float requirements. This status allows the issuer to use a short-form registration statement, such as Form S-3, for new securities offerings. The SEC defines the criteria for a seasoned issuer, including a minimum public float of $75 million.
