Spear phishing

A targeted form of cybercrime where fraudulent emails, appearing to be from a known or trusted source, are sent to a specific individual or organization. The goal is to deceive the recipient into revealing confidential information, such as login credentials or financial details, and constitutes an act of wire fraud or computer fraud. Unlike general phishing, spear phishing messages contain personalized information to increase their credibility.
