Vexatious litigation

Legal action initiated or pursued without sufficient grounds and solely to harass, annoy, or delay an opponent, or to cause unnecessary expense. Courts have the authority to declare a litigant vexatious and impose restrictions, such as requiring court permission before filing new lawsuits. This aims to prevent abuse of the legal system.
