Aerological days
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-003338
Specific days designated for internationally coordinated, intensive upper-air atmospheric observations. During these periods, meteorological services conduct more frequent radiosonde launches or other soundings to gather a high-resolution dataset of the atmosphere's vertical structure over a wide area.
