Agulhas Current

A warm, swift ocean current that flows southward along the southeastern coast of Africa, originating from the Mozambique Current and East Madagascar Current. It is the western boundary current of the Indian Ocean, carrying warm, saline water poleward. This current is known for its strong eddies and retroflection south of Africa.
