East Madagascar Current

A warm, southward-flowing ocean current that runs along the eastern coast of Madagascar. This current is a western boundary current of the Indian Ocean and is part of the larger South Indian Ocean gyre. It transports heat and salt southward, influencing regional oceanography and climate.
