Alberta low

A type of extratropical cyclone that forms or intensifies over the province of Alberta, Canada, often east of the Canadian Rockies. These low-pressure systems are known for their rapid movement and can bring cold air, strong winds, and light to moderate snowfall to areas downstream. They are a common feature of winter weather patterns across central North America.
