Secondary cyclone

A low-pressure system that forms or develops along the trailing cold front or occluded front of a larger, primary cyclone. These systems can intensify rapidly and often bring significant weather changes, including heavy precipitation and strong winds. They are a common feature in mid-latitude storm development.
