Relating to changes in atmospheric pressure over time, particularly those associated with the movement of weather systems. These pressure tendencies indicate whether a region is experiencing rising or falling pressure, which can forecast the approach or departure of high or low-pressure areas. Isoallobars are lines connecting points of equal pressure change over a given period.
