Isallobar

A line on a weather map connecting points of equal atmospheric pressure tendency, indicating areas where pressure is changing at the same rate over a given time period. These lines delineate regions of rising or falling pressure, which are indicative of approaching weather systems. Isallobars are typically drawn for 3-hour or 6-hour pressure changes.
