Isabnormal line
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006663
A line on a map or chart that connects points having an equal deviation from the long-term average or normal value of a meteorological element. These lines are used to analyze and visualize anomalies in fields like temperature, pressure, or precipitation over a specific period. For example, an isabnormal line might connect all locations that were 2°C warmer than their 30-year average temperature for a given month.
