Isodrosotherm
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-001449
A line on a weather map or chart that connects points having an equal dew point temperature. Isodrosotherms are used to identify and analyze areas of atmospheric moisture, with closely spaced lines indicating a strong moisture gradient, which is often associated with frontal boundaries. Dew point temperatures are expressed in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, and a value above 65°F (18°C) indicates very humid air.
