Katallobaric
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006768
Relating to a region where atmospheric pressure is falling rapidly with time. A katallobaric center, or low, is an area experiencing the greatest rate of pressure decrease. This pressure tendency is a strong indicator of atmospheric dynamics, often associated with the intensification of low-pressure systems and the approach of inclement weather.
