Anadyr Current

A cold, nutrient-rich, relatively saline current that flows northward from the Bering Sea basin along the Siberian coast and through Anadyr Strait toward the Bering Strait. It is the western branch of the Pacific water flowing into the Chukchi Sea and the Arctic Ocean, and it supports very high biological productivity.
