Somali Current

A western boundary current in the Indian Ocean that flows northward along the coast of Somalia during the Northern Hemisphere summer monsoon. This current reverses direction during the winter monsoon, flowing southward. It is one of the few ocean currents that undergoes a complete seasonal reversal.
