Arctic-alpine

Describing plant and animal species, or ecological conditions, found in both arctic and alpine environments. These organisms are adapted to cold temperatures, strong winds, and short growing seasons, often exhibiting similar physiological traits. Examples include cushion plants and certain mosses that thrive in both high-latitude and high-altitude regions.
