Atmoradiograph
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-003663
An instrument that measures and produces a continuous record of the intensity of atmospheric radiation. It detects either solar (shortwave) or terrestrial (longwave) radiation, or both, providing a graphical output of radiative flux over time. These recordings are used to study the Earth's energy budget, cloud effects on radiation, and the daily and seasonal cycles of incoming and outgoing energy.
