A meteorological phenomenon characterized by a hazy or dusty atmosphere, often associated with the advection of Saharan dust over the Canary Islands and other parts of the Atlantic. This condition significantly reduces visibility and can lead to respiratory issues due to the high concentration of suspended particulate matter. It is a form of atmospheric turbidity.
