Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004321

A range of values used to group continuous data into discrete categories for statistical analysis or graphical representation, such as in a histogram. Each interval has a lower and upper bound, and all data points falling within that range are counted together. The choice of class interval width can significantly influence the appearance and interpretation of data distributions.
