Climatic fluctuation

A variation in climatic conditions that occurs over periods ranging from years to decades or centuries, without necessarily indicating a long-term trend. These can be driven by natural internal variability within the climate system, such as El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) events, or by external forcings like volcanic eruptions. They represent deviations from the average climate state.
