Coastal climate

The distinctive weather patterns and atmospheric conditions experienced in regions adjacent to large bodies of water, primarily influenced by the moderating effect of the ocean or a large lake. These areas exhibit smaller diurnal and annual temperature ranges, higher humidity, and often more precipitation compared to inland locations at similar latitudes. Sea breezes and fog are common phenomena in coastal climates.
