Local winds

Atmospheric air movements that are influenced by regional topography and local temperature differences, rather than by large-scale pressure systems. These winds develop over small geographical areas and exhibit distinct diurnal or seasonal patterns. Examples include sea breezes, land breezes, mountain breezes, and valley breezes, which are driven by differential heating of land and water or slopes.
