Tertiary circulation
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009563
Atmospheric circulation patterns that are highly localized and often driven by specific geographical features or diurnal heating cycles, such as land-sea breezes, mountain-valley winds, or urban heat island circulations. These circulations are smaller in scale than primary (global) and secondary (synoptic) circulations. They significantly influence local weather and air quality.
