Tetens's formula
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009564
An empirical equation used to calculate the saturation vapor pressure of water over a range of temperatures. It provides a good approximation for meteorological applications, particularly for temperatures between -30 and 35 degrees Celsius. This formula is often incorporated into models that predict dew point, relative humidity, and cloud formation.
