Condensation temperature
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004576
The temperature at which a gas or vapor begins to condense into a liquid at a given pressure. For water vapor in the atmosphere, this is also known as the dew point temperature. When air cools to its condensation temperature, saturation is reached, and water vapor transforms into liquid droplets, forming clouds or fog.
