Adiabatic saturation temperature

The lowest temperature to which an air parcel can be cooled by evaporating water into it, provided that all the latent heat required for evaporation is supplied by the sensible heat of the air itself. This temperature is equivalent to the wet-bulb temperature. It is measured by a wet-bulb thermometer.
