Conditional sampling
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004583
A measurement technique where data is collected or analyzed only when specific atmospheric conditions or thresholds are met. This method allows researchers to focus on particular phenomena, such as turbulent eddies or specific cloud types, by filtering out irrelevant data. It is often employed in micrometeorology and boundary layer studies to isolate and characterize specific processes.
