A cold, strong, and dry wind that blows from the northeast across Romania, particularly affecting the eastern and southeastern regions. This wind is associated with high-pressure systems over Eastern Europe and can bring sudden drops in temperature and clear skies. It is a regional manifestation of the larger-scale easterly flow.
