Echo amplitude

The strength or intensity of a radar signal reflected back from a target, such as precipitation or atmospheric particles. It is a measure of the power of the returned electromagnetic wave. Higher echo amplitude indicates a stronger reflection, often corresponding to larger or more numerous targets within the radar beam.
