Fog chamber

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005682

A controlled experimental environment designed to simulate atmospheric conditions conducive to fog formation and study its properties. These chambers allow researchers to manipulate temperature, humidity, and aerosol concentrations to observe droplet growth and optical characteristics. They are used in atmospheric research to understand fog microphysics.
