Gauging site

A specific location established for the systematic measurement of hydrological or meteorological parameters. These sites are equipped with instruments to collect data on variables such as streamflow, precipitation, water level, or atmospheric conditions. Data from gauging sites are used for water resource management, flood forecasting, and climate monitoring, often maintained by national weather or water agencies.
