Heat equator

An imaginary line encircling the Earth that connects points of highest mean annual temperature. This line generally lies north of the geographical equator due to the greater landmass in the Northern Hemisphere, which heats up more readily than oceans. Its position can shift seasonally, influencing global atmospheric circulation patterns.
