Ice mound

A localized elevation of ice on a surface, often formed by the accumulation of snow and ice or by the extrusion of water that subsequently freezes. These features can vary in size from small hummocks to larger, more permanent structures like pingo-like forms in permafrost regions. They are distinct from icebergs or ice shelves.
