Intermediate standard times

Time zones that are offset from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) by a number of hours and a half-hour, rather than just whole hours. These zones are typically found in countries that have chosen to align their local time with specific geographical or political considerations. Examples include India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) and Australian Central Standard Time (UTC+9:30).
