Standard time of observation

The internationally agreed-upon times at which meteorological observations are made and recorded at weather stations worldwide. These synoptic observations are scheduled at fixed intervals, primarily every six hours starting at 0000 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). This synchronization provides a consistent global snapshot of atmospheric conditions for weather analysis and forecasting models.
