Isobront

A line on a weather map connecting points where a thunderstorm was first heard or observed at the same time. These lines are used to track the movement and progression of a squall line or a large area of thunderstorms across a region. The spacing between successive isobronts, typically drawn for one-hour intervals, indicates the speed at which the storm front is advancing.
