Isoshear

A line on a weather map connecting points of equal wind shear. Wind shear represents the change in wind speed or direction over a given distance, either horizontally or vertically. Isoshear lines are often used in forecasting severe weather, as strong shear can contribute to thunderstorm development and organization.
