Karema wind

A strong, dry, southeasterly wind that blows across Lake Tanganyika in East Africa during the dry season. Occurring from May to September, it is named after the town of Karema on the lake's eastern shore. The wind generates significant waves on the lake, creating hazardous conditions for local fishing boats and other small vessels.
