Labbé

A strong, humid southwesterly wind occurring in the Gulf of Lion region of the Mediterranean Sea, particularly along the coast of Languedoc, France. It is associated with the passage of low-pressure systems and brings cloudy, rainy, and often stormy weather, contrasting with the cold, dry northerly Mistral wind. The labbé is most frequent during the spring and autumn transition seasons.
