Light freeze

A meteorological condition where the air temperature drops slightly below the freezing point of water, causing minimal damage to most plants. This occurs when temperatures range from 29 to 32 degrees Fahrenheit (-1.7 to 0 degrees Celsius). Tender plants may experience some harm, but hardier vegetation remains unaffected.
