Marine barometer

A specialized instrument designed to measure atmospheric pressure aboard ships and other marine vessels. It is constructed to withstand the motion of a ship, such as pitching and rolling, and often includes a damping mechanism to stabilize readings. These barometers are calibrated to provide accurate pressure data, which is used for navigation and weather prediction at sea.
