Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007120
A cloud formation that develops over oceans or coastal regions, influenced by the moisture and temperature characteristics of the marine environment. These clouds often include stratocumulus, stratus, and fog, which form due to the interaction of moist air with cooler sea surfaces or advection over land.
