Matinal

Relating to or occurring in the morning. The term describes atmospheric phenomena that characteristically develop or are most pronounced during the early part of the day. Examples include matinal fog, which forms overnight and dissipates with morning sun, or certain types of thunderstorms that are triggered by early solar heating of the land surface.
