Meteorological observatory

A facility dedicated to the continuous and detailed measurement of atmospheric conditions using a suite of instruments for both surface and upper-air observations. These observatories serve as primary sites for long-term climate monitoring, instrument calibration, and atmospheric research. Unlike standard weather stations, observatories maintain historical data records spanning decades or centuries and serve as reference points for regional climate studies.
